Where is the wedding taking place?

Our ceremony & reception will be both be held at the Triple Nickel Wedding Venue (The Wedding Hangar) at 9555 Argyle Street, Ailsa Craig, ON.

Our reception will immediately follow our ceremony.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Our ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. To ensure a prompt start, please arrive no later than 4:00pm to secure parking and a seat!

Will the wedding be held indoors or outdoors?

All of our wedding events will be held outdoors, so please dress accordingly.

Depending on the weather and environment, we may be hosting a bonfire in the evening with the opportunity to roast marshmallows and have “s’more” fun!

What is the dress code?

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding, so we are opting for a semi-casual dress code.

Summer dresses, lightweight separates and flats or wedge heels are all great options for the ladies! Keep in mind that our entire wedding will be held on grassy fields, so please choose your footwear appropriately!

Button-up shirts, trousers/chinos and boat shoes or loafers are fantastic options for the men! We do want to keep some sort of formality to our wedding, so please do not wear jeans!

We ask that our guests please refrain from wearing white, ivory, or similar colours- those are for the bride!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We invite you to be truly present with us during our nuptials with an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that all phones and cameras remain out of sight until after the ceremony.

We have hired a professional photographer to capture this special moment and will happily share these photos with you after our wedding!

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Our venue is located on a private property and does not have signage to indicate it’s location. If you are driving, please follow the directions below:

From HWY 402 W

  • Exit off Hwy 402 on Centre Road/County Road 81 (Exit 65) and turn right onto centre Road/County Road 81. Follow road for 5 km
  • Turn right onto Petty Street/County Road 19. Follow road for 2 km
  • Turn right onto McCubbin Road. Follow road for about 1.6 km. McCubbin Road slightly bends and becomes Argyle Street
  • Keep following Argyle Street (formerly McCubbin Road) for 400 m. Our venue will be on the left-hand side.

We have arranged for a transportation shuttle to pick up and drop off guests that will be staying at our chosen hotel. Pick up and drop off times will be arranged closer to the wedding date. If you would like to use our shuttle, please notify us by answering the question on our electronic RSVP, or by getting in touch with our wedding planner.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Free parking is available at our venue. Please refer to the venue map under the “accommodations” tab to see where the parking is located. To allow vehicles to easily exit, we ask that you park your cars perpendicular to the venue entrance road and walk down to the ceremony site. If you have a mobility concern, please notify the parking attendant.

Are children welcome/allowed to attend the ceremony/reception?

Although we adore your children, we have decided to make our big day an adults-only event. Please take this opportunity to have a date night! We genuinely hope you can join us to enjoy our wedding.

Can I bring a guest (plus one) to the wedding?

Our goal is to keep our special day as intimate as possible. We have chosen to celebrate with only our closest friends and family, and unfortunately cannot accommodate any additional guests other than those addressed on our invitations. Thank you so much for understanding and respecting our wishes!

Will food and drinks be served at your wedding? Will there be an open bar?

We will have a casual buffet-style dinner during our reception. There will be no scheduled dinner time, so please feel free to eat whenever you would like.

Our bartenders will gladly pour you a drink from our open bar after the ceremony!

Remember: the drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you!

What is the best way to RSVP? When is the RSVP deadline?

Please send in your RSVP by no later than July 20th, 2023.

You can RSVP directly through our wedding website by clicking on the “RSVP” tab and following the link. You can also mail your RSVP card back to us using the pre-labelled envelope included with your invitation.

Are pets allowed at the venue?

As much as we love all of our furry friends, we have decided not to allow pets at our wedding- but please give them a little extra love from us!

Is smoking permitted on the premises?

There will be a designated smoking are located between the reception hangar and the restrooms. To keep the venue clean, please be sure to dispose of any butts properly.

Is there anything I should bring?

We will be doing our best to ensure our guests have everything they need to enjoy our wedding. Here are a few things you may want to bring for yourself, just in case:

  • A change of clothes/footwear and a jacket for the evening
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug Spray
  • Your own marshmallow roasting stick
